Do Not Rent to Lisa Carlton and John Warner

Lisa Carlton and John Warner (Middlefield Ohio area)seem to be very nice people, however, they managed to do $9,000.00 worth of damage in 4mo time.  They craved up my wood floors with nasty words, sprayed painted my drop down ceiling with peace signs and other designs, used a marker to write on the walls, ripped in areas my wall paper all the way up to the ceiling, broke doors and took doors some place.  They let their 17 year old kid take a knief and go along my deck making deep marks all along the railing, broke the toilet, ruined the carpet in the living room, broke the garage doors (two) took fire and put burnt marks on the siding and the tree house, stumped on the roof and placed holes so now we have damaged wood, took cutting plyers and cut the aluminum siding that is wrapped around the main beams on the deck, broken windows, 10 yrd dumpers to remove what they left behind when they creeped out in the middle of the night, and I had to use a scrapper to get the 1-2 in dirt off of the floors.  Bugs in the frig because of rotten food.  DO not rent to anyone of them on their kids that just turned 18 years of age which his name is Justin.  I am taking them to court.  Chardon OHIO
Good luck all you Landlords because the law is not with us but with the slime.

Ceaser Aguilera another slumlord

I moved to this apartment in April of 2009 - I knew there was a bar downstairs, I have eyeballs i can see. I expected some noise - - sure..after all it is a bar.
I lived in uptown when i was a kid above a bar for over 10 years and had never experienced anything like i did when i lived in this sewer pit.
upon moving in the cops were banging on the back door the very first night we were there looking for the guy next door - who we would later find out was a no good piece of shit.
come the first weekend there- relaxing..... BOOM! live band playing downstairs!!!!!!!!  we were never told live bands played down there . This is a dirty little secret the slumlord likes to keep to himself obviously because when i called him at 1am to ask when this band was gonna stop playing and why was a live band down there in the first place and why didn’t he tell me he acted like he had no clue.
Yeah right.
These live bands continued the entire year that we lived there regardless of the fact that the renter of the bar Bonnie O’leary has no PPA license she still had them play no matter what. Ive had a few run ins with her drunk ass as well - she is just an ignorant person in general - alcohol has the best of her and she cannot see past anything- she should try being sober ...maybe wise up a bit.

not only did we have the dis pleasure of having to deal with live bands every weekend until what ever time they got drunk enough and closed the apt. its self was dangerous - we kept smelling a very foul odor coming from a closet where the furnace is...smelled like natural gas mixed with shit (seriously) it got so bad one day i called the gas company to come out. when they came he said this isn’t natural gas - you;re smelling “ poo poo water” ???? poo poo water? wtf is poo poo water???  turns out the buildings vent stacks are totally clogged and the sewer gas is leaking into the apt.’s

when i gave the letter from the gas company to this slumlord he looked like a lost puppy and acted like he had no clue...even went as far as to tell me the guy next door was sabotaging his building! I call bullshit! this slumlord is full of poo poo water himself. A little looking around on the Internet and found some interesting stuff.....he has many violations but the ones that really caught my eye are listed below......

so yeah - this guy is and was fully aware of the sewer gas but does not bother telling anyone and expects people to just deal with it i guess ... he could care less and just wants the rent money typical slumlord. If the city would start exposing these people for who they really are then maybe it would change but i don’t see that happening anytime soon.
now the building is up for sale for well over a million bucks...good luck trying to get that much for this sewer pit! I hope he never sells the place and is forced to fix every single thing in there. if he collects rent money then he should very well take care of these problems but i guess he doesn’t see it that way.
he’s too busy buying “smart cars” and defaulting on bank loans to bother with this building.

No maintenance - Wood Gardens

If you would like to live at a place that never does maintenance or fixes anything then move to Wood Gardens in Hoover, AL and you will get your wish. Maintenance is never done and repairs take about 2 months for someone to come out and not fix it properly so then you have to call again.
