TenantDispute® is a worldwide consumer reporting Web site and publication, by consumers, for consumers, to file and document complaints about tenant, landlord or individuals. While we encourage and even require authors to only file truthful reports, TenantDispute® does not guarantee that all reports are authentic or accurate. Be an educated consumer. Read what you can and make your decision based upon an examination of all available information.
Unlike the Better Business Bureau, TenantDispute® does not hide reports of satisfied complaints. ALL complaints remain public and unedited in order to create a working history on the company or individual in question.
TenantDispute® was started because of having experienced a deadbeat tenant that took advantage of our trust and good will. We hope that others will not fall victim to the same person. Learn from the mistakes of others - not your own. If you have tenant or Landlord problems, this is the place to vent and find out how to handle these problems.

Don’t extend any credit to these individuals. James is National Guard but don’t be fooled. He has no honor. I extended him numerous courtesies regarding late rent and utilities and in turn he snuck off owing me $670. They have 2 small children and one on the way. They seem to be operating between NC and Florida. Beware
They’re okay
Money greedy, intolerable landlords.
Linda and David Brown (moreso Linda Brown, but David is involved too) are Landlords out of Northern Idaho who rent out houses to people who otherwise cannot qualify for houses (bad credit, etc). We were in such a need back in 2008.
They decided to ‘rent to own’ a house to us, with $3,000 down and $1,400+ a month. However, the company they used to do the lease was sued by Idaho for illegal business practices, and our lease with the Browns expired.
In 2008 (October of that year), i was extremly ill, in the hospital for a month in ICU. Had a very long recovery time, unfortunately. Because of this, we couldn’t pay on our monthly rent. They, at the time, did allow us to prorate that rent onto the next payment, which was nice, but therein ends all the niceities.
Because of the medical bills, the price / month for the house was too much for us, and we had to go to the local food back and services for help. Upon hearing who our landlords were, the services department let us know that previos tennants at the same address, with the same landlords also used the foodbank, etc. They even gave us the rent amounts.
These scum landlords have been charging people hellishly expensive prices:
2 Tennants ago: 1500+ a month
1 Tennant ago: 1200+ a month
Me: 1400+ a month
NOW: AND CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS: 975/month.
You have got to be kidding me. For nearly 3 years, we were FORCED to pay rent on a place that they are willing to take only $975/month for NOW? And now, they are forcing us to keep paying them money we owe them for back rent (due to me being sick), even after we have moved out.
These people are USING people, are money hungry, and will not be kind to anyone. I personally have refused to pay them a penny more. I mean honestly, from $1400+ a month down to $975?! And prevoius tennants being ripped off by them?
What’s the point. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!

I advise never to rent from these people. they have really cheap rent. That will be seen as an amazing oppurtunity for a first time renter or someone trying to same some money. I have rented from them for two years and had minor issues throughout the time renting from them. i chalked it it up to you get what you pay for. The apartment building is old, It has cracking walls. walls are painted over continusly showing a cracked wall. but that was a minor thing i have put up with during my time renting from them. Im my time i have friended other tenants that have lived there and since moved out. Three of the tenants that i have come to know have all been threatened with bieng taken to court some reasons seem rediculous. I can say I truelly never saw the day upon my move out that i too would be threatened and being told i would be taken to court. Ive done everything asked in my process to move out by January 31 2011. I have moved all my things out the weekend january 22 and 23 and had planned on my final day to do an overhaul cleanup but i know am not given that chance. I was called sunday night at 2:30am threatened and told i am not allowed back on the property as of that night. that would contradict my previous agreement with them and my plan to do a final cleanup and repair of the apartmemt. I had spoken with the manager joanna about if i wasnt able to get a scheduled time for a window repair that i would give her the cash to have it paid for when they came. i was threathed and told that i was my fault the toilet has overflown that night which a week prior i shut off the water to avoid any issues.
