Take PICTURES

Ramshaw Real Estate in Champaign-Urbana area will rip you off!!!

When I moved in they did not clean my apartment - there were large wads of dust bunnies on the carpet, stains on the carpet, gashes in the wall and food crusted in the oven and fridge.  I took pictures to document all this.

However when I moved out I scrubbed every nook and kranney but forgot to document that I cleaned it all with pictures- Ramshaw is charging me $106 for “cleaning” which I am trying to contest but since I do not have proof that I have left it cleaner than I came in, I will probably be forced to pay this.

TAKE PICTURES OF THE EMPTY ROOMS, inside the oven, fridge, W/D, etc!!

Robert Snyder/Barbara Pisano DO NOT RENT TO THEM

These people are professional scammers. Please check out Connecticut Housing dockets: SNSP-034883,SNSP-036484, SNSP-037854.
If I checked their social security I would have found out they have been evicted before, had judgement’s against them.  This guy is professional. He uses the system to stay in a dwelling for as long as the court allows. We had to have them removed and they left the house filthy.

Am I wrong?

I have lived at my current add for almost 2 years. I have paid rent on time every month and i have even made improvements to the home ( got the carpets cleaned) However the refrigerator broke down twice and my roommate and i lost all our groceries TWICE. both time it took more than a week to get the landlord to have someone repair it. We never received any reimbursement for our lost food. The dishwasher and stove have not worked since i moved in, in fact the dishwasher reeks of mold and rotten animal fat, it only sloshes around dirty water. A written complain about the oven and stove was hand delivered to the land lord ( who lives in the bottom unit) yet 20 months after my move in nothing had been done to replace them. Isn’t my rent supposed to cover those expenses? Since i pay my own utilities? Would i be wrong to take my next few rent checks and buy my own major appliances?

Do not Rent to Marcelle Kisson in NYC.

This renter and her family took me for 3 months rent ($6,000.00) and also stole the furnishings from the rental house. We had to take her to court to move her from the house. They are noisy renters whose son is a marijuana fiend. Their neighbors called the cops on them several times for noise violations and from being physically threatened from their son. They are currently renting from some poor guy in our neighborhood but will contact him soon to warn him of their history. They are from the Bronx, New York and they show it. If you rent to them, they will always be late with the rent. Have over 5 bounced checks from them. They say that Albert, her shady boss will cover her costs, but that is a lie. All they will tell you is lies.
