Not only did M.P. not pay rent on time and was evicted, he ended up literally taking practically everything but the kitchen sink. Including the kitchen faucet, bathroom fan, CO2 detector, shower valves, toilet repair kit, etc.. Oh, and the toilet seat, of all things. Do not rent.....
Donna is a single mom, who goes from apartment to apartment refusing to pay rent. She acts very nice a sweet, but she is a seasoned veteran at working the system and cheating landlords.
My personal expirence with her was terrible. I almost lost my house because she refused to pay her rent for 8 months. I was unaware she had done this many times before and bought her sob stories for about 4 months. As soon as I told her I would have to evict her, she began to call the police every two weeks and tell them I was threatening her. I had to leave my own house at my lawyers suggestion, just so she couldn’t call the police and lie about me since I moved. The person I bought the house from lost it because she didn’t pay her rent to her either. Later I found out that she had been evicted from the house right next door. I took her to court but she appealed to housing court, and shortly after that even lied to the federal court in Salem and got a restraining order, saying I threatened her life. She cost me 15,000+ dollars and any landlord who has been to housing court knows that no matter what the tennant wins. I was forced to pay for her to move to a new apartment and was bound by contract that stated I could not tell the new landlord anything about her or her past. Mass is horrible for landlords but that is another story. If you know or have ever rented to this woman and need a witness in court I will help you out. I also have the names and contact info of three previous landlords that are willing to do the same. In addition to all of the above she would force paper into the bathtub drain and overflow the bathtub every month. Forcing me to call a plumber every time, at a huge expense. 4 Cherry Street, Danvers Ma - I know she no longer lives here but am forbidded by court order to contact the landlord so I cannot confirm. I heard thru some other individuals she stole from that she now lives in a trailer park on rt1 in peabody.
I’m reporting this property manager as dishonest. I left my apartment clean and she agreed at the time she would return my deposit with a check in the mail within a week. A month later I get a list of charges for “damage” to the apartment. Somehow all the charges add up to the exact amount of my deposit. Later I went online and googled her name to see if there were any other records of her misdeeds. Well there was. She was arrested about a week prior for theft. Her greed knows no bounds. Her idiot/live in boyfriend Benny is a major douche bag and bully. He enters people’s rooms when they aren’t there and steals things. Definitely don’t rent from these people. Ali and Benny are both skanks and should be put in jail.
It’s been 4 months (Apr-July ‘11) and the eviction process is still tied up in the Los Angeles Court system. Peter Laursen and Azaar Mendoza weren’t even the guys who originally signed the lease but they managed to squirm their way in and brought dozens of other drug users and deadbeats. The apartment’s front doors have the locks broken, the doors inside the apartment are gone as well as the stove and refrigerator. The walls are full of graffiti (what idiots- Peter and Azaar don’t realize they have to live in their own squalor), the floors are partial ripped with trash and drug paraphernalia everywhere. The kitchen cabinets and drawers are broken, dismantled, and gone.
I can’t believe our crappy eviction process. What happened to the rights of the owner? These guys are obviously not going to pay the rent and have stolen anything that isn’t bolted down (the police can’t do anything because in theory “Peter Laursen and Azaar Mendoza may have taken the items out for repair and may plan to bring them back”. Bull! They have no respect for other people’s property. They hide in the apartment, leave when a process server comes by, or say they aren’t the people the sheriff are looking for to avoid being served.
So I don’t get to collect rent money, but I’m suppose to pay the mortgage? I have to live meagerly (no new clothes, no going out to eat, no trips, no medical insurance), while I saw these guys with cable, WIFI, and flat screen tv. So I have to suck it up while these deadbeats get to spend beyond their means, then sell items they don’t own to support their drug habit. What kind of messed up world is this? Don’t ever rent to Peter Laursen and Azaar Mendoza! If I could, I would have used the profanity these donkey-holes deserve when speaking about them. So if you think that this isn’t someone that is too upset then here is my last thought about Peter Laursen and Azaar Mendoza, “if I could get away with it, they would be 6 feet under”.
