These guys majorly got me. They led me on for 4 months that they were getting a tax ruturn, or unemployment, or something else. I should have known when they wanted to move so quickly that something was wrong. Ultimately, they got evicted owing me over $6000.00. Left the house a complete mess full of trash and unwanted furniture. When I sued them, THEN they came up with a laudry list of what a terrible landlord I was and all the things that were wrong with the house...things I had NEVER heard of, or had no idea was wrong. Needless to say, they no-showed at court, judgemenbt in my favor for just under 5K (to stay in small claims) and now live in Vermont where I am sure they will get someone else....BEWARE!!
Man made us crazy....first started with stories...everything was someone else’s fault. Finally after 4 months of listeing we began eviction process. He claimed everything from he was “disabled” and therefore we were breaking the law to evict, so threatening us with things he “knew” because he was a private eye. After finally getting him out, he basically left most of his stuff b/c he was hospitalized at the time. We stored it like we were supposed to and never heard another word. But, when all was said and done he owed us about $2200.00....GONE....
They do not pay and they will force you to evict them. You wonder why they have nice cars and nice things, its because they are living off of you… LANDLORD BEWARE!!!! The stories WILL NOT END… IF YOU RENT TO THEM, YOU WILL HAVE TO EVICT THEM. CHECK ORANGE COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT RECORDS. We had to evict them and they now have a new eviction pending. **UPDATE** It turns out they are pulling the same stuff they did with us with their new landlord. Best of luck to them as well. They are on state assistance so it makes getting rid of them a little harder. They have kids and dogs so your place will most likely be destroyed by the time you get them out.
