Mark A Hadley DOB 10/26/1981 of: 3502 Prince Williams Dr.,Fairfax VA 22031 , 849 N Franklin Chicago, Il , 540 Lake Shore DR. Chicago IL, is an untrustworthy person that looks you in the face with a smile while trying to figure out how to take advantage of you. He’ll write you a rent check and stop payment. While renting our loft he damaged the flooring, paint, holes in doors, damaged lighting, and damaged garbage shute while throwing large items where maintance had to dismantle at the 7th floor level. Our drains were clogged with cigarette butts. Shower had rotted walls and floors from not using shower curtain. This person is evil and will take advantage of you. He actually teaches classes working at Numerix !</description>

      <description>Ms Janet Ann Dauth, age 51, California resident, profession: hair dresser, rented my house in Tracy, CA on a two year lease 2009&#45;2011. Two months out from the end of the lease she broke the lease without paying the last two months rent. I also found out she violated the no pet clause of the lease, had an unauthorized tenant living with her (apparently a new boyfriend according to the neighbors) who smoked in the house, thus violating the no smoking clause. She also did not clean the place up adequately, or return the keys in a timely manner to the property manager I had to hire to get the place ready to rent again, and find a new tenant. She also lied about her follow&#45;on address; which was her ex&#45;husbands address, where she has not lived for years. I sued Ms Dauth in the Superior Court of California, San Jouaquin County, Tracy, CA, case # 39&#45;2011&#45;00259826&#45;SC&#45;SC. She was a no&#45;show; I am currently pursuing garnishment. Beware of Ms Dauth, she appears to be a responsible person when evaluating her as a potential tenant, but proved to be deadbeat tenant and lied about her follow&#45;on address. She is also listed in Deadbeat Tenenants.net, and was reported to the major credit agencies. She maintains multiple addresses in Union City, CA, Oakley, CA and is believed to be living with relatives in these cities or with friends in Tracy, CA.&amp;nbsp;</description>

      <description>Brian (aka Barry) &amp;amp; Julie Bush, Milwaukee WI: illegally withheld money from a security deposit for &#8220;cleaning&#8221; and &#8220;toilet repair&#8221; after Mr. Bush walked through with previous renter and stated that &#8220;everything looks good.&#8221; Landlords reported that toilet was &#8220;inoperable&#8221; which was a lie. Toilet was fully functioning when tenants vacated. Tenants also paid for one months rent after vacating. If there was a problem, the landlords could easily have notified past tenant to have the situation rectified since the party was technically still renting. Wisconsin State Law shows that a landlord cannot deduct fees for cleaning unless damage or neglect was the fault of the tenant. &#8220;Normal wear and tear&#8221; cannot be deducted from a security deposit. Mr. and Mrs. Bush have yet to comply with the law. They also took in new tenants before the end of the month (that was paid for by previous tenants), thus collecting double the rent for at least 7 to 10 days.       <description>This is a warning to all who may be considering renting the property located at 221 S. New Jersey Avenue, Lake Hopatcong, NJ

BEWARE OF THIS LANDLORD AND HIDDEN COSTS AND DANGERS ASSOCIATED WITH LIVING AT THIS ADDRESS

When we moved in a year ago we were taken by the apparent cute nature and gorgeous views associated with this house. What we did not know or see...nor were we told...were the insurmountable costs we would endure heating this house during the winter months. Over $4,000 in heat costs! This includes the cost of oil (for the forced air heat), propane (for your hot water), electric heaters (needed as supplemental heat in the extremities of the house), and wood for the fireplace (which could not be effectively used because it will not vent properly and so the house fills with smoke when used). The most frightening part to this tale is that we barely got a winter last year!....what would the costs have been if the winter were more severe?

The house is NOT insulated and so WILL NOT hold heat. There is no rear entry (weatherproof) door. Just a screen door, a flimsy storm door, and a pair of old french doors all of which are anything but weatherproof. The pipes in the kitchen will literally freeze unless you leave your kitchen cabinet doors open all winter to allow heat to get inside! 

The exterior walkways and stairs are extremely old and in extremely poor condition. One stair literally crumbled under my wife&#8217;s foot as she was carrying our 3 month old son. Fortunately she maintained her balance. A large puddle will form on the walkway leading to the rear house (there are 2 on the property) every time it rains. This is annoying in the summer and extremely DANGEROUS in winter when that large puddle begins to freeze and you have no choice but to cross it with fingers crossed. Many of the stairs, walkways, and retaining walls are at best safety hazzards and more accurate unusable except at your own risk.

The Halloween snow storm we experienced here took down tree limbs and power lines. One tree limb which broke but never fell hangs ominously over the house and the power lines which fell are still laying on the lawn....it is now June of the following year!! The yard is to be maintained by the landlord...the last maintenance done was on MOTHERS DAY, today is June 18th and we have not seen the lawn mowed since.

When we tried to bring these things to the attention of this landlord we were ignored and told (an I quote)....&quot;fine&quot; What does that even mean?? It means this landlord can&#8217;t be bothered being a landlord. They DO expect the rent each month but do not give any priority to the safety or happiness of the tenant&#8217;s who live here. Combined with the unreal hidden costs which must be ADDED to your rent payment anyone considering renting this house is now officially WARNED!</description>
